FAQ
We are located at the rear of 82a Preston Road, Standish Wigan, WN6 0HS across from Lidl. The clinic is located to the right of the entrance to Inspired Gym (look for signage).
Bring along any relevant scans, reports, or medical letters that relate to your condition - anything you think might help your therapist understand your history and provide the best possible treatment.
Yes, just park on the Inspired Gym car park - free of charge.
We recommend wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that allows you to move freely.
If your issue is from the hip down, a pair of shorts is ideal so your therapist can easily assess and treat the area.
If your concern involves your shoulder or upper body, a sports top or vest works best, as it gives your therapist clear access to the shoulder joint.
The goal is to make sure you feel comfortable while allowing your therapist to carry out a thorough assessment and treatment.
The typical appointment follows a sequence of assessment, treatment & rehabilitation. During the assessment we will make it crystal clear what we believe your problem is & how we plan to resolve it. Treatment & rehabilitation will be very engaging with our primary aim being that you leave with confidence and reassurance how to achieve your goals.
Most clients feel relaxed, lighter, and looser after their session. However, it’s completely normal to experience a little soreness for a day or two - especially if we’ve worked on areas that haven’t been treated in a while or if your session involved deeper, hands-on techniques.
In some cases, you might also notice mild tenderness or light bruising. This is simply your body’s natural response to treatment and should fade within a few days as your tissues recover and adapt.
If you have any concerns or want to check that what you’re feeling is normal, please don’t hesitate to get in touch - we’re always happy to advise.
